We do understand that many affected residents may not be able to meet the 120 day Emergency Rule Provision. Under the Texas Administrative Procedures, Emergency Rules can only be effective for 120 days. They may be extended for an additional 60 days and that will likely happen to provide extra time.

 

However, we do realize this still presents a short timeframe based on circumstances. As the letter states, we are very happy to work with anyone who may need longer to complete pier repair and rebuilding. Please just let us know and staff will work out an individual timeline that meets everyone’s needs on a case by case basis. Thanks, Amy”
