San Bernard Watershed Protection Plan
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss revisions to the San Bernard Watershed Protection Plan (WPP), which was developed by local stakeholders of the San Bernard River watershed in Sep 2009, with support from the Houston-Galveston Area Council and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. The revisions generally include updated computer modeling data and updated schedules to reflect the current status. No appreciable changes have been made to the decisions made by stakeholders during the original WPP development process.
The San Bernard Watershed Protection Plan seeks to address water quality issues in the San Bernard River through voluntary, locally-led efforts.
FEEDBACK: H-GAC will be accepting public comment regarding the WPP through 12/2/16. Email comments to Justin Bower at Justin.bower@h-gac.com, discuss by phone 713-499-6653, or send via snail mail to Justin Bower, 3555 Timmons Lane, Suite 120, Houston, TX 77227.

Brazos-Colorado Coastal Basin (Basin 13)
The Brazos-Colorado Coastal Basin Project is a multi-year process to develop a plan to improve the quality of waterways, specifically reducing bacteria levels, across the basin.
Basin 13 includes all or a portion of 20 cities, villages, census-designated places, and six counties (Austin, Brazoria, Colorado, Fort Bend, Matagorda, Wharton).
At this meeting you'll hear presentations about bacteria levels in Basin 13 and learn about the process for developing the plan to address these issues. Your help is needed and knowledge of local waterways to develop the plan to reduce bacteria levels in this basin.
