Current River Conditions

Current river conditions (midway between the FM 521 bridge and the FM 2611 bridge): 
  • Tue 5Nov13, 8:00 am: Water from last week's (Thu 31Oct13) heavy rain over the San Bernard watershed has arrived at the above location. Water level rising but still well below bank full level. Current is estimated at .7 mph. Minimum flotsam (floating debris). See NOAA Hydrological Prediction Service link at bottom of page.
  • Noon: Water level is steady, current is 1 mph
  • Wed 6Nov13, 7:00 am: Overnight the water level rose slightly but still well within bank level, currently approx 9" below bank full, upriver predictions show water to be receding and north wind today will push water level lower, current is .7 mph
