President's Fundraiser Message

This was big news in the 1950s (the car not the couple) — the Corvette, the poodle skirt, cateye glasses and plaid shorts. FOR President John Swanson and wife Dana came ready to “Rock the River” fundraiser dressed in classic fifties fashion.
“What a fun night of 50’s memories! The decorations including classic cars, motorcycles and hundreds of old vinyl albums were amazing, making you feel as though we were really living back in the 50’s. I want to thank everyone that helped plan, decorate and host to make this event so successful. Thanks also to all the County officials who attended.
I am once again amazed at how volunteers stepped up to quickly assemble the pieces to this puzzle and made such an awesome and enjoyable event. The results of this fundraiser will help fund our many river projects in 2025.” —FOR President John Swanson
Members of the event’s Auction Team (standing) is Shawn Hyland and Cole Swanson, auction runners, and Kelli Hyland and Britt Swanson, auction finance. Not pictured is FOR VP Sheila Wardlaw, Auction Chairman.
