The Dredge Report - 8 Oct 21
Posted on Oct 8th, 2021

Completed from Mon 10/04 to Wed 10/06

Status Report 10 Oct 21
Rigid Constructors Dredging Contractor
Daniel Garza Project Manager - HDR Engineering, Inc, Owner’s-Engineer

Based on daily reports, the following metrics have been calculated:
  • LF (Linear Feet) = 4,955 (51.1% of 9,700)
  • CY  (Cubic Yards)= 120,777 (33.3% of 362,163)
Rigid was able to get the pump skid re-installed and aligned by Monday evening (10/04/21), which was earlier than expected. Dredging started late on Monday at about 8:30pm that evening and went relatively smoothly. Although not continuous, they’ve been running just about non-stop [other than typical downtimes for a) fueling, b) moving anchors, c) cleaning the cutterhead ]. We’re already seeing a nice bump in cubic yards of material per day being dredged.

We don’t yet have a recovery schedule to understand the plan on completing the project by the contractual end date of January 18, 2022, but I expect they’re waiting a week before sending one out due to the expected increase in production. With that information, the Contractor will be able to provide a better outlook on a possible completion date.
