Annual mtg river update 9-19-15
The Gulf Coast Rescue folks took me, plus, Chris Sallese of Dannenbaum Engineering and four Berg/Oliver employees on a boat trip to the mouth last Thursday 12Oct17. Berg/Oliver had their drone flying the mouth for two hours. We had a depth finder on the boat. We couldn’t get to the Gulf because it was less than two feet and we tried four or five different ways!

There were some areas where it was 10 to 11 feet deep but we sure need the dredge now. RESTORE ACT Funds are still at the U.S. Treasury Dept. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is hoping to have the Funds by December but Chris Sallese thinks February or March of 2018.

Thanks again.
