Feelin' Hot Hot Hot!!

It's not just the weather that's making you feel hot hot hot! It's the "Escape to the Tropics - Island LuWow" on Saturday, October 3 at 6:00 pm. The island style fundraiser will be held under a huge party tent at the FOR Community Center, 20450 CR 510-B, on the east bank of the river, a mile south of the FM 521 bridge and three miles west of Brazoria.
Upon arrival, you’ll hear live steel band music and receive a welcoming lei and serving of special punch. Enjoy a meal of roasted pig and island chicken with tropical side dishes, followed by a live auction. A "Quick Draw" gun raffle will go on during the event. Live music and dancing close out the night. Come dressed as a “tourist-in-the-tropics” and don’t forget your flip flops.
The ever popular FOR San Bernard progressive dinner is one of the live auction items offered at the event. It consists of a group of six gourmands are transported by water taxi to four different homes, where they enjoy appetizers at the first stop, salad at the second, entree at the next and dessert at the last location.
Tickets are available at the door the night of the event at $25 each. Early bird tickets have been sold out. If you are a sponsor, a certain number of tickets are reserved in your name and available at the FOR Community Center the night of the event. See Sponsor List for number of complimentary tickets.
