Heavy Rain Over San Bernard Watershed

Current river conditions (midway between the FM 521 bridge and the FM 2611 bridge):
- Thu 31Oct13, 3:00 pm: Water level approximately a foot below bank level, slow current. Heavy rain fell on the San Bernard watershed starting early morning and stopping at 3:00 p.m. This water will be draining into the river in the next few days. Use NOAA Hydrological Prediction Service (link always at the bottom of this page) to keep track of the current water level on the San Bernard River near Sweeny.
- 10:00 pm: No change in water level, slow current​​​​​
- Fri 1Nov1, 8:00 am: water level elevated a couple of inches but still within bank level. LOST KAYAK FOUND on the river. If you have lost yours, call 979.248.6071 and give a description of brand, model, etc. to claim!
- 6:00 pm: water continues to rise very slowly (2"), but still below bank full level
- Sat 2Nov13, 7:30 am: water level's dropped, well below bank full level, no debris
- 5:30 pm: water level normal, no debris
- Sun 3Nov13, 8:30 am: water level normal, turbid (muddy not clear), unless there is a change this will be the last report of current river conditions
