The Yellow Fin dredge has moved back to the intersection of the San Bernard and Intracoastal Waterway. It is preparing to restart dredging south again because the waves and currents from the Gulf hindered its progress and proved to be a challenge. Brazoria County and Rigid agreed on the quantity of material, an amount that will be incorporated into a change order as an addition of material. Barges on the Intracoastal Waterway can be seen pushed to the bank, waiting to restart their trip toward Freeport on the horizon.

Looking inland from the Gulf of Mexico, the mouth waits for the return of dredging equipment that will open a 1.800 ft. navigable path from the mouth out through Gulf waters.
