Based on daily reports, the following metrics have been calculated:
LF (Linear Feet) = 7,740 (79.8% of 9,700)
CY (Cubic Yards) = 313,352 (86.5% of 362,163) - Total volume will be adjusted when quantity calculations are completed.
Waves/currents have continued to hinder progress, but Rigid was able to dredge on four of the seven days since THU 01/13. Although down for portions of all those days, they pressed on to dredge as waves and currents allowed.
Rigid has not yet moved to the north yet, it is expected that will happen in the next few days. The hope is that when they move back upriver to the GIWW and begin dredging south, challenges with waves and currents should be less than that they’re experiencing at the mouth of the river.
The County and Rigid have agreed on the quantity of material; that amount will be incorporated into a change order as an addition of material.
- Boaters please stay clear of markers, the dredge pipe, all equipment, and the discharge area.
