Rigid is gearing up to move back upriver to the GIWW and begin dredging south. This should alleviate challenges and waves and currents that they’re experiencing at the mouth of the river. They may begin that effort this week.
The County has calculated and provided a quantity of the additional material to Rigid, and are waiting to received concurrence on that quantity. There are required discussions to understand and agree to the quantities.
- Boaters please stay clear of markers, the dredge pipe, all equipment, and the discharge area.
