Kayaking the logjams of the San Bernard

Lower Brazos Riverwatch is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. Its land trust affiliate, the Columbia Bottomlands Conservancy, also protects riparian habitats on the lower San Bernard and Colorado Rivers.
On Jan 23, 2021, three intrepid adventurers from the “Lower Brazos Riverwatch” organization kayaked 16 miles of rugged San Bernard River starting at Kendleton, Hwy 59, north to East Bernard, Hwy 90.
