FOR College Scholarships Available

  Scholarship applications will be submitted to these 14 high schools: Bellville, Brazos, Sealy, Brazosport, Columbia, Sweeny, Columbus, Rice, Lamar Consolidated, Needville, Boling, East Bernard, El Campo and Wharton.
Now is the time to start thinking about the Friends of the River San Bernard Watershed Scholarship opportunity. Graduating 2020 Seniors that are residing or have a primary residence in, or attending a high school with an attendance zone in the San Bernard Watershed can apply for one of the six $1,000 scholarships. Applicants must demonstrate a direct connection between their career path and the betterment of the environment.

These scholarships are a way to invest in the future of the San Bernard River community. The Scholarship Program is funded by FOR San Bernard through their annual October fund raising event.
