Derelict Vessel Turn-In Program Offered

The Vessel Turn-In Program is an opportunity to voluntarily remove inoperable, derelict vessels under 26 feet in length during this four day event. Boats over 26 feet willl be considered on a case-by-case basis. You will be required to bring vessel to one of the two drop off locations. Boat must be clear of waste and debris
 
GLO (281-470-6597) and TPW will verify if the boat qualifies for disposal. BCFFA will sponsor removal of fuel, oil and batteries and the County will transport the vessel to the landfill for disposal.
 
Brazoria County has partnered with the Texas General Land Office (GLO), Texas Parks & Wildlife (TP&W) and Brazoria County Fire Fighters Association (BCFFA) in offering this program.
