Adopt-a-Highway Trash Pick Up Rescheduled
Posted on Jan 8th, 2017

  • Adopt a Highway Clean Up
  • Sat Jan 21, 9:00 am
  • Churchill Bridge Parking Lot, FM 2611
Old man winter blew frigid air down the San Bernard putting a big chill on the Adopt a Highway trash pick-up scheduled for Sat Jan 7. With a warmer outlook in sight, it has been rescheduled for Sat Jan 21, 9:00 - 11:00 am.

Trash will be picked up on FM 2611, a mile before the Churchill Bridge and a mile after. Volunteers are needed! If you can't make it, recruit someone, lots of high school students are looking for service hour opportunities right now.

Gather first at the Churchill Bridge boat ramp parking lot at 9:00 am for your safety vest, water and trash bags. Bring a hat and gloves. Strong shoes or boots are a good idea. Not advisable for children under ten years of age.

Help keep the San Bernard looking beautiful!
