Drilling Rigs on FM 506

Two headstones sit silently as three noisy Phillips 66 rigs drill saltwater disposal wells to a depth of 7,000 feet near FM 506 just west of the San Bernard. The finished wells will receive the salt water (brine) from the washing of the storage wells from the Clemens facility located downriver. The photo was taken on Jan 25 at the Mims Community Cemetery just off of FM 521. Phillips 66 drilling and pipeline construction

And noisy they are...I use to watch the large woodpeckers fly from their nests across the road from us where the wells are now....I have taken many pictures of them in our yard every morning...they are gone now....driven off by all the loud noises!
