Annual San Bernard River Cleanup

The Dirty Work of Keeping the San Bernard Clean
A 30-mile stretch of the San Bernard River was cleaned of rubbish on Sat Aug 15th. It took twenty-two volunteers, eight boats, two kayaks, a Brazoria County dumpster and a ton of sweat equity to accomplish. Donated to the event was trash pickup, trash bags, gloves and “Open Mouth” t-shirts. Sandwiches were also available at a couple of collection spots.
