9:00 - 11:00 am

Three Collection sites
  • Hanson Riverside County Park, Hwy 35 boat ramp
  • McNeill Bridge, FM 521 boat ramp
  • Churchill Bridge, FM 2611 boat ramp
A 30-mile stretch of San Bernard River starting at the salt water dam above Hwy 35 west of West Columbia, to River’s End near the Intracoastal Waterway, is the cleanup area for the annual river cleanup. Bring your trash by boat or road to one of the collection sites listed above. River trash only. No household rubbish please.

Volunteers Julie Fonden and Stephanie Cunningham will be manning the FM 521 boat ramp and serving hotdogs and drinking water. Additional volunteers, organizers, friends and neighbors are needed to tackle the job of removing unwanted items from the river.
