Collection boxes located at Dido’s Restaurant
"San Bernard Santa" is collecting donated toys and children's clothing articles for several neighborhood churches to distribute for children's dreams of having a wonderful Christmas Holiday.

You’re invited you to attend this meeting and become a member of the FOR Environmental Team that seeks to keep the San Bernard River healthy and clean using FOR environmental objectives and targets. Meets first Thursday of the month.

Spread the warmth this Saturday morning by enjoying breakfast and donating a toy or clothing article to the “San Bernard Santa” toy drive. Breakfast price is $10 for adults, $5 for children - under 3 yrs, no charge. There’s plenty of hot coffee and conversation with friends. Everyone’s invited!
Adopt a Highway Cleanup
9:45 - 11:45 am immediately following breakfast
Churchill Bridge FM 2611 Boat Ramp
Wear apparel that provides protection from the sun, bugs and weather. Strong shoes or boots are a good idea.TxDOT provides safety vests and trash bags. Volunteer to help keep litter from washing into the San Bernard.

Christmas Boat Parade
San Bernard River
5:30 pm - decorated boats gather just above FM 521 bridge
6:00 pm - parade starts
Boats parade travels downriver from FM 521 to FM 2611 boat ramps (or further if wishing to continue). It’s free! Organized by Friends of the River San Bernard and does not require registration. Join the fun and light up, show up and travel the boat route showing off your Christmas lights.
If you are not located on the parade route and want to view the parade, bring a lawn chair to the Friends of the River Community Center, 20450 CR 510-B, a mile south of the FM 521 bridge and watch the parade from there! Opens at 4:30 pm.
