Join join fellow boaters for the 20th Annual Patriotic Boat Parade on the river. This fun, informal parade is held annually where patriotically decorated boats gather at the FM 521 bridge and head down river to the Churchill Bridge, cheering watchers as they stream by.
It’s free! Organized by Friends of the River San Bernard, it does not require registration. All you need to do is show up and show off your red, white and blue decorations on your boat or personal water craft. Fill your boat with flags, friends and fun!
Not on the parade route…then bring a lawn chair and some liquid refreshment and watch the boats pass by at the FOR Community Center outdoor pavilion, 20450 CR 510-B, one mile south of FM 521 on the river. Gate opens at 3:00 pm.
