Muskopf Receives 2025 Primeau Award

The annual Ralph Primeau Award is presented at the FOR State of the River meeting to the person whom FOR feels has significantly contributed toward the spirit and purpose of the FOR mission. This years's winner named at the Sat Feb 22, 2025 meeting is John Muskopf.
John has significantly contributed toward the spirit and purpose of the FOR mission through his five years of chairmanship of the FOR Scholarship Committee. He communicates with counselors at 14 high schools whose attendance zone is in the San Bernard River watershed. He and his committee evaluate the scholarship submissions and recommend those that warrant receiving our scholarships. John leads the selection process and notifies the schools of the awarded recipients.
John travels to each of the school’s award ceremonies to personally meet and present the $2,000 scholarships. He has not asked for reimbursement for his travels and expenses of leading this committee
