Environmental Committee Meeting regularly held the first Thursday of the month has been rescheduled to Thu Jul 11 because of Independence Day.
Breakfast on the Bernard
Saturday, July 6th, 2024, 8:30am to 9:30am at Dido's Restaurant
Regular first-Saturday-of-the-month Breakfast on the Bernard. All friends of the river are invited. Come find out what's happening and enjoy a great breakfast - cost is $10 adults, $5 children - under ten yrs of age free. The coffee's hot and so's the conversation!

4:00 pm - Boats line up above FM 521 Bridge
4:30 pm - Parade starts. Ends at Churchill Bridge or below
FREE! No registration required. Please observe boating safety rules
Decorate your boat on Thu July 4th so it will be ready on Sat July 6th to join fellow boaters at the annual patriotic boat parade on the San Bernard. This fun, informal parade is held annually where red, white & blue decorated boats gather at the FM 521 bridge and head down river to the Churchill Bridge (or below if wishing to continue) cheering watchers as they stream by. It’s free!
Not on the parade route?
Bring a lawn chair and a liquid refreshment and watch the boats pass by at the FOR Community Center outdoor pavilion, 20450 CR 510-B, one mile south of FM 521 on the river. The grounds will be sprayed for mosquitoes the night before the parade. Gate opens at 3:00 pm.
