Friend or neighbor, you're invited to the regular first-Saturday-of-the-month Breakfast on the Bernard. Come find out what's happening on the river and enjoy a great breakfast. Cost is $10 adults, $5 children - under ten yrs of age free. The coffee's hot and so's the conversation! Stay long enough to hear any FOR announcements.
- Brazoria Mayor Phillip Ray will give an update on City of Brazoria wastewater treatment plant's renovation design and timeline.
- 10am - 11am immediately following breakfast, tentative TxDOT Adopt-a-Highway cleanup scheduled depending on mowing and weather conditions. Two miles before and after the Churchill Bridge.

FOR Public Education Program "Alligators: Facts & Fiction"

Learn “dos and don’ts” for living with alligators. Become informed on how to determine if the observed alligator poses a threat to you or your property.
Program speaker Pat Wolever, San Bernard River resident, has legally hunted and studied alligators over the past 20 plus years.

San Bernard River Watershed Workshop Texas Riparian & Stream Ecosystem Training
FOR Director Tom Ronayne will give an overview of current FOR Environmental Committee Activities at the AgriLife and TWRI workshop. Training will focus on the nature and function of stream and riparian zones (streambanks, riverbanks, and flood plains) of the San Bernard Watershed. Learn the benefits and direct impacts of healthy riparian zones. Local resources including technical assistance and tools that can be employed to prevent and/or resolve degradation are available.
