Everyone's invited to attend the 19th annual FOR "State of the River" meeting. Hear FOR report on last year’s accomplishments and goals for the upcoming year. The annual Ralph Primeau Memorial Award will be presented to the person or persons whom FOR feels has significantly contributed toward the spirit and purpose of the FOR mission.  
 
Meeting is free and open to the public. All interested citizens are encouraged to attend. Food can be ordered from the restaurant before and after the event.
 
A professor from Texas A & M Galveston will present a brief summary of a TGLO study done on sediment deposits in the lower Brazos and San Bernard River area. This study was recently completed after several years of research.
