For immediate release. Please announce the following not-for-profit event:

F.O.R. San Bernard River Clean-up Slated

 

Due to Hurricane Ike, the San Bernard River got a partial clean-up, so F.O.R.’s fall clean-up will be reduced in scope this year.  We still need your help in keeping the river clean, so if you can, meet at Dido’s for a good breakfast at the regularly scheduled Breakfast on the Bernard Saturday, November 1 from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m..

 

After breakfast, get your trash bags and fan out to your selected portion of the river to do a clean up. Once you’ve filled your bags with trash, bring them to and drop them off at the F.M. 2611 boat ramp (the only designated trash pick up place this Fall). Then come on by the F.O.R. Community Center at 20450 C.R. 510-B from 1 – 3 p.m. for hot dogs and camaraderie.
