Friends of the River San Bernard will host its annual public election meeting and elect five new directors to replace the five directors on the board who are stepping down, on Saturday, September 6th. The meeting will be 4 p.m. at Dido’s Restaurant, CR 519 in Brazoria. Dido’s will prepare appetizers, which the attendees may order during the meeting, and everyone is welcome to stay for dinner and music following the meeting.

Guest speaker Brian Koch, Regional Watershed Coordinator for the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board, will give a presentation on watershed issues affecting our area.

Friends of the River San Bernard is a non-profit organization that was founded to restore, protect, promote and ensure a clean, healthy, flowing San Bernard River.
