Eighth Annual July 4th Boat Parade
Saturday, July 6 is the date for the 8th annual July 4th Boat Parade. It will travel downriver starting at the FM 521 bridge and ending at the High Five Bar and Grill just past the FM 2611 Churchill bridge. The parade begins at 4:00 pm and will be judged in four categories - most patriotic, best sound, most original and overall.
Following the parade, all boat participants will be served hot dogs with all the trimmings at the Taylor's home where the parade awards will be presented.
For those not located on the parade route, the FOR Community Center will be open to the public for viewing the parade. Free lemonade, cookies and water will be served.
Rules and regulations regarding the boat parade will be explained and any questions answered at a Captain's meeting on Thursday, July 4th, 7:00 p.m. at Didos Restaurant on the river.

Boat Parade Route
1. Parade starts at FM 521 bridge, viewing area at boat ramp parking lot
2. FOR Community Center viewing area, 20450 CR 510-B
3. Parade ends just past the Churchill bridge, FM 2611. Viewing at boat ramp parking area.
