enjoyment of present and future generations.

Environmental News
Friends Of the River's Environmental
Committee will seek to ensure F.O.R. of
safe, quality, pure water for recreational
boating, swimming, fishing, and marine and
wildlife use. We plan to locate sampling points
that will give us a baseline on components that
we may want to monitor for our education, and
the education of others. We will work with
industry, governmental agencies, and river
residents to help give us a better understanding
of the San Bernard River's analysis from the
beginning (inlets) to the outlet (mouth). We
will provide analysis over time and through
seasons, to check both natural phenomena and
man's interventions, (such a fertilizers in the
spring).

Meagher, Vanessa Taylor, Elizabeth Moore, and
Barbara Fratila.
