Shrimp Boat in the Snow
Who
could forget the once-in-a-lifetime South Texas snowfall
on Christmas Eve 2004? Record-setting snow fell in
areas that hadn’t seen snow in more than 100 years!
More than 500 miles of Texas’ Gulf Coast were
transformed into a winter wonderland. One of these
coastal areas, very near and dear to us all, was the
San Bernard River.
Never
ever to be forgotten, three beautiful books recount
the true story of this magical, miraculous, and memorable
event through 300 beautiful photographs . (300, each book)
The
first "Snow" book was published last spring and immediately
"sold out" - After much public support and inquiries, a
second call was sent out to find additional photographs for
Volume II "More Snow". The call produced 2,500 photos from
professional and amateur photographers. Out of 2500
photos, only 300 of the best were selected. Proudly
chosen was a photo submitted by River's End resident and our
F.O.R. Board Member and P. R. Representative, Janice
Edwards!

These are beautiful "coffee table "
books . HEB stores have the books for sale, but they go fast
- copies can be ordered online.
