Tentative hours for event: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

 

At the Wednesday, June 14, 2006 meeting of the Brazoria County Shoreline Restoration Task Force, initial plans for a public meeting to be held at Stahlman Park, Village of Surfside Beach, C.R. 257 was announced.

 

The Task Force will host the meeting which is slated to begin at 11:00 a.m. There will be a lunch break from noon until 1:00 p.m. Following lunch, the Texas chapter of the American Shore and Beach Preservation Association will hold their quarterly meeting. Projects and funding for Brazoria County Coastal Projects in compliance with the Coastal Impact Assistance Program (CIAP) 2005 will be the majority of the agenda. Galveston and Matagorda officials will be invited to discuss potential projects which will have multi-county impact. State and local elected officials will also be invited to attend.
