We've been sabotaged!

Our boat was sabotaged late last night -- we aren't entirely certain who it was, but there are some pretty obvious clues as to who the culprits are.

The villains attempted to decorate the boat in a red/white/blue theme for the Memorial Day Parade. We do have some neighbors who are running "against" us, in the Memorial Day parade, and constantly express their wishes to one-up-us on decorations.

Our suspicions stem from these items: men's and women's underwear hang from one of the outriggers. On the other outrigger hangs an empty box of Miller Lite and a mop -- hmmmmm, who could THAT be do you suppose? Over the cockpit is a yellow raft that has been rotting on our neighbor's dock for several summers. On the bow of the boat is a chair that matches the chairs on our neighbor's deck with a life jacket, a pot plant from their new deck which is perched on bench that comes from their yard. To top it all off there is a blowup pink flamingo (a lowly stab at John's profession, I might add).

I've attached photos as proof.

John says these'll make good photos for pre-parade and that's probably why our neighbors (should they ever admit guilt), did it in the first place. He's such an optimist!

By the way, this work of art was probably an 8 beer job!

We urge everyone to be creative and join in the Memorial Day boat parade!
