Thursday, March 30, 2006: Update from Brazoria County

PRESS RELEASE

BURN BAN FOR BRAZORIA COUNTY LIFTED

March ญญ29, 2006

Due to the significant rainfall the County has recently received, the Order Prohibiting Outdoor Burning in the unincorporated areas of Brazoria County, effective February 14, 2006, will be terminated as of March 30, 2006.

Citizens are asked to be extremely careful when burning outdoors as despite the current wet conditions, fire danger still exits within the County. Please refer any questions regarding outdoor burning to the Brazoria County Environmental Health Department at Courthouse extension 1600
